  • Torrey Honors applicants will have the opportunity to complete their Torrey Interview during their visit.

Additional Event and Travel Details

$1000 Visit Scholarship

When you attend Biola Preview Day, you will also be automatically eligible to receive a $1000 scholarship when you are admitted and enrolled at Biola for the Fall 2026 semester!

Overnight Housing Opportunity for Visiting Students

For November Biola Preview Day, on-campus, overnight housing will be offered for prospective high school juniors, high school seniors and transfer students only

All prospective high school juniors and seniors and transfer students are welcome to indicate on the Preview Day Registration form if they would like to be added to the overnight housing list. Priority for overnight housing will be given to students from out of state or those in California who live 100+ miles from Biola's campus. Beyond that, overnight housing for local registrants will be on a first-come first-served basis. Space is limited. 

Registration for Overnight Housing for the November Biola Preview Day will close on Friday, October 31st, 2025 at 5 p.m. (To indicate that you would like to be added to Overnight Housing for Biola Preview Day, there is a question in the event registration form to do so.) 

Overnight housing is not guaranteed, students will receive a confirmation if their on-campus housing request has been confirmed. If you are hoping to stay overnight in the dorms for Biola Preview Day, but you do not fall in one of the two categories outlined above, there will be an option on the registration form to be added to the waitlist should a space open up. 

Airport Transportation for Biola Preview Day

For students who may be "flying solo" to campus for Biola Preview Day weekend!

Biola University is delighted to offer airport transportation for students only who may be traveling on their own for Biola Preview Day. Below are the details for how to take advantage of this opportunity.

Who Qualifies?

This service is reserved for students who are traveling without a parent or guardian. 

Pickup Times

LAX Airport Pick-up on Sunday, November 9th: A Biola Shuttle will arrive at 1:15 p.m. with departure to Biola’s Campus at 1:30 p.m.
  • On Sunday, November 9th, flights must have an arrival time at LAX by 1:00 p.m. in order to be on the Biola Shuttle.
LAX Airport Drop-off on Monday November 10th: A Biola Shuttle will depart Biola’s campus at 4:00 p.m. to arrive at LAX at 5:00 p.m.
  • On Monday, November 10th, flights must have a departure time after 6:30 p.m. to have enough time to join the shuttle which will depart from Biola’s campus at 4:00 p.m. to arrive at LAX at 5:00 p.m.

How to Reserve Your Seat

To reserve your seat, please email us at admissions.events@biola.edu and we will be happy to coordinate your space on the Biola Shuttle. There are 20 spaces available for students who would like to take advantage of this opportunity, so don't wait! 

Important Note: Before finalizing your travel plans, please ensure that you have received an email reply from admissions acknowledging and confirming your seat on the airport shuttle.

Housing Accommodations (FOR STUDENTS ONLY)

Students who are flying from Northern California or out of state without a parent or guardian will automatically be placed in on-campus, overnight housing with a current Biola student. Please note that on-campus, overnight housing will be for students only. Additional guests, including parents, will need to arrange their own accommodations off-campus. 

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I be able to connect with my major/program of interest?

During Biola Preview Day there will be a variety of opportunities for you to connect with faculty, staff and students that are currently in the program that you’re interested in. You’ll have the opportunity to sit in on a real-time class, visit and Academic Department Open House where you’ll be able to chat with faculty and current students, as well as visit The Biola Fair & Luncheon. At the Biola Fair & Luncheon you’ll be able to connect with multiple programs and majors if you’re still exploring your interests!

Will I be able to sit in on a class?

Yes! We’re curating a list of real-time classes for you to be able to sit in depending on your major. You’ll receive a final list of class visits available once you arrive at the Event Check-In and receive your event materials.

Will I be able to see the dorms?

Yes! There will be dorm tours offered throughout the event. However, sign-ups are required. Sign-ups for dorm tours will open on Monday morning starting at 8:00 a.m.

What does the registration fee include?

The registration fee includes three meals; Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast, and Monday lunch. If the registration fee poses an obstacle to your attendance at Biola Preview Day, please reach out and let us know at admissions.events@biola.edu.

If you want to learn more about Torrey Honors College, sign-up for Honors Hour! You'll be able to connect with their team to get your questions answered and learn more about what it looks like to be a student in the Torrey Honors College. Make sure to register for Honors Hour in your Biola Preview Day registration form.

    High School Pitch Competition: Your Ideas, Your Impact

    6–8 p.m.

    Have a big idea already? Are you already an entrepreneur or one in the making? Or did you create a fantastic idea at our workshop earlier in the day?

    Come as you are with your creative idea to the first-ever High School Pitch Competition at Biola University! You’ll share the stage with Biola under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ students in a fast-paced one-minute elevator pitch competition. No slides needed, and yes, you can read from your phone. All you need is your story, your faith and your idea to make an impact. The environment is super supportive, so you will have champions cheering you on, so the stage jitters will be lessened. We got you!

    Learning to Lament: An Example of Integration in Psychology

    Experience firsthand what it looks like to integrate faith in psychology by joining our workshop, Learning to Lament: An Example of Integration in Psychology! The integration of psychology with our Christian faith is central to the Psychology major. In this presentation, we highlight the specific model we use to teach integration, using recent research on the biblical practice of lament as an example.

    The Department of Kinesiology and Public Health prepares students for careers in various health, wellness, and therapeutic disciplines to compassionately impact the world for Christ. Join the Kinesiology Lab Tour to envision yourself here and have the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff and current students in the program.

    Connect with Public Health faculty in 15 minutes appointments and learn how as a student in this program you’ll be prepared for a career in various health, wellness, and therapeutic disciplines equipped to compassionately impact the world for Christ.     Communication Sciences and Disorders Department Tour

    Join the Communication Sciences and Disorders Info Session to chat with faculty and staff, get your questions answered, and tour the on-campus Speech Clinic and Clinic Workroom. See how Biola is preparing Christian men and women with the proper foundation for »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ studies in speech-language pathology and audiology, so they can one day serve with excellence!

    If you are interested in Math, Computer Science (AI), Robotics, Engineering, or Physics, then come see, experience, and ask questions during the Division of Technology Tours. On the tours, you can participate in our immersive hands-on experiences and get answers to the latest in our programs, scholarships, and labs. Drop into the open house hours to connect directly with program faculty.

    We know many students are unsure of what to major (or minor) in, but if you are interested in Tech and how to master it for God’s Kingdom this is your chance to get to know us, get your questions answered, and see the scholarships, internships, research, and job opportunities that await you!

    Healthcare Management & Nursing Info Session

    If you’re interested in Healthcare Management or Nursing at Biola, join this info session to explore your future career and then take a tour of the skills and simulation labs to see how Biola students are trained to be highly skilled and technically competent to impact the world in areas such as hospital and home care, public health services, school and missions. 

    Chemistry Labs Department Tour

    Have the opportunity to tour the chemistry and biochemistry labs and learn how Biola trains and mentors students to become skilled scientists who will glorify God and be good stewards of his creation as they serve others in research, academia, and industry and ask questions about these programs!

    Department of Biological Sciences Info Session & Dissection 

    1:15-2:00 p.m.

    If you’re considering biology for your under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ degree you can imagine yourself in the Biology Department at Biola when you join Dr. Kit Ng for an immersive hands-on experience and dissect a cow eyeball. This unique opportunity will deepen your understanding of the anatomy of an eyeball while allowing you to engage directly with our anatomy faculty. You'll also have the chance to ask questions about life as a Biola student in the Biological Sciences program!

    *Participants will need to sign a release waiver before participating in the dissection or negative staining. Forms can be filled out upon arrival at session.

    Allied Health (Pre-Occupational Therapy) Info & Tour 

    9:00-9:30 a.m.

    Connect with the director of the OT program, hear from current Allied Health/Pre-OT students, see a splint demonstration, and explore the new Pediatric Sensory gym. Consider your under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ pathways in Allied Health (Pre-OT) as well as learn about the new »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ OT program that will begin in Summer 2025.

    Kinesiology Department Info & Tour

    1:30-2:30 p.m.

    Spend time connecting with current Kinesiology students, staff, and faculty while you take a guided tour of the department facilities. This is a great opportunity to interact with our students and faculty, explore the space, and ask any questions you may have!

    Stewart Science Honors Program

    9:00-9:30 a.m. & 11:00-11:30 a.m.

    The Stewart Science Honors Program is a highly selective and academically rigorous interdisciplinary program guided by research and technology. Stewart Scholars are members of a collaborative community in which they work alongside Biola’s exceptional STEM faculty to produce original research. Through these unique mentor relationships, Stewart aims to produce innovative Christian leaders in the sciences. During this info session, you will have the opportunity to meet both the program directors and current Stewart Scholars.

    Talbot Bible, Theology & Ministry Info Session

    Hear more about the Biblical & Theological Studies Division and learn about our various concentration tracks as well as the 30-credit Bible minor required for all Biola students which is implemented in our Bible, Theology, and Ministry major.       • Description: Biola Preview Day is a virtual event where international students and parents have the chance to learn about Biola University, our campus, community, and the application process. Our desire is to help you get your questions answered so that you can more confidently navigate the process of choosing a college for your next “home.â€

        This session will include information on scholarships available to international students. There will also be an open time for Q&A.
