STUDIO CITY, CALIF. 鈥� Headlining the 21st annual Biola Media Conference will be media creatives such as 鈥淪elma鈥� actor and Golden Globes nominee David Oyelowo, 鈥淎rrested Development鈥� actor Tony Hale, YouTube prankster Jack Vale and Director Steve Oedekerk.

The one-day conference, held at CBS Studios back lot on Sat., May 2, 2015, will focus on inspiring attendees to become trailblazers of culture and creators of meaningful and excellent entertainment.

Keynote Speakers for the 2015 conference include:

Tony Hale: Actor/author who is best known for his role as Gary Walsh, the downtrodden personal aide to Vice President Selina Meyers played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus on HBO鈥檚 Emmy nominated political comedy, 鈥淰eep鈥�. In 2013, Hale won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and was nominated again in 2014 for his performance. Prior to 鈥淰eep鈥�, he co-starred as the socially awkward Buster Bluth on the ground-breaking, Emmy Award-winning series 鈥淎rrested Development鈥�, which aired on Fox from 2003 鈥� 2006 and was later picked up for an additional season on Netflix in 2013.

David Oyelowo: Up and coming actor opposite Tom Cruise in 鈥淛ack Reacher鈥�; and has appeared in films such as 鈥淪elma鈥�, 鈥淚nterstellar鈥�, 鈥淭he Butler鈥�, 鈥淩ed Tails鈥�, 鈥淩ise of the Planet of the Apes鈥� and 鈥淭he Help鈥�. Oyelowo received a 2015 Golden Globes nomination for 鈥淏est Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture 鈥� Drama鈥� for his performance as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 鈥淪elma鈥� and for 鈥淏est Supporting Actor鈥� for the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards for his performance in 鈥淢iddle of Nowhere鈥�. Oyelowo will be playing the villain in Paramount鈥檚 鈥淐aptive鈥�.

Jerry Jameson: An accomplished Film & Television director and producer. Jameson has directed episodes for such classic television shows such as 鈥淗awaii Five-O鈥� (鈥�75); 鈥淢agnum鈥�, 鈥淧.I.鈥�; 鈥淒allas鈥�; 鈥淢urder, She Wrote鈥�; 鈥淭he Mod Squad鈥�; 鈥淭he Six Million Dollar Man鈥�. Jerry Jameson most recently directed the feature film 鈥淐aptive鈥� starring David Oyelowo (鈥淪elma鈥�, 鈥淚nterstellar鈥�) and Kate Mara (鈥淗ouse of Cards鈥�) that will be released in Fall 2015.

Terry Botwick: President of Vanguard Films & Animation, President and COO of Big Idea Productions (鈥淰eggieTales鈥�), SVP of Programming for CBS, President of Distribution and National Programming for the Hearst Corporation and Vice President of The Family Channel.

Steve Oedekerk: Academy Award nominated and experiencing vast success in writing, directing, producing, acting, stand-up comedy, and computer generated animation. While writing on the Fox series 鈥淚n Living Color鈥� (1990), Oedekerk collaborated with actor Jim Carrey on the surprise hit comedy 鈥淎ce Ventura: Pet Detective鈥�. When that film became a break-out success, Oedekerk was asked to write and direct its sequel, 鈥溾€� (1995), which proved to be a rare sequel that far surpassed the box office gross of the original. He went on to write and direct 鈥淏ruce Almighty鈥�, 鈥淭he Nutty Professor鈥�, and 鈥淧atch Adams鈥�.

Jack Vale: YouTube鈥檚 star prankster and manufacturer of 鈥淭he Pooter鈥� discovered his favorite thing to do was make people laugh. With no money for advertising, he started uploading hidden camera pranks using the 鈥淭he Pooter鈥� in public places. Now, more than 200 million video views later, Vale is one of the most watched comedy pranksters out there and Cable channel HLN recently picked up his reality series 鈥淛ack Vale: Offline鈥� which features Vale and his family.

The Biola Media Conference will also showcase the 2013 Fall Biola Film 鈥淗eritage鈥� and 2014 Spring Biola Film 鈥淜yle and Captain Courage.鈥�
