FULLERTON, CALIF. 鈥� For the sixth year, a Biola University professor along with students in his Gender and Communication class will help redeem Valentine鈥檚 Day and care for OC United women at a special event on Feb. 10 鈥� 鈥淰alentine鈥檚 Day is for Everyone.鈥� In the spirit of Valentine鈥檚 Day with the support of in Fullerton, CA, Trader Joe鈥檚 and St. Jude Hospital, the students will spread the message of love and worthiness with women who may have experienced violence in past relationships.
鈥淭hrough this event, students have a chance to speak words of life to women who have often only heard derogatory comments or actions,鈥� said Dr. Tim Muehlhoff, professor of communication studies at Biola. 鈥淓vents like this help students understand that what they are learning in the classroom can deeply impact not only individuals, but entire communities. Students don't wait until they 黄瓜视频 to exhibit neighborly love; they impact others as they are learning.鈥�
MEDIA ADVISORY 鈥� FOR DAY OF COVERAGE
What: 鈥淰alentine鈥檚 Day is for Everyone鈥� event where women will receive roses and gift cards donated by Trader Joe鈥檚, hand-written notes of affirmation made by Muehlhoff鈥檚 students, free massages offered by a massage therapist from St. Jude Hospital, gourmet cookies and free cosmetics offered by a makeup artist. The will also be at the event delivering notes and offering prayer for the women.

Who: Biola University students and faculty partnering with OC United, Trader Joe鈥檚 and St. Jude Hospital.
Why: Provide women who may have experienced violence in past relationships with genuine Valentine鈥檚 Day love through cards, flowers and other treats.
