This October Biola will be hosting Daniel Nayeri, multiple award winning author of Everything Sad is Untrue, The Many Assassinations of Samir, the Seller of Dreams and the recently released The Teacher of Nomad Land along with many other works in children's literature and graphic novels. His novel Everything Sad is Untrue is a compelling memoir about his childhood experience immigrating as a refugee from Iran to Oklahoma in the 1980s with his mother and sister, when there was a fatwa against his mother after she became a Christian. He is a consummate story-teller and a person of deep Christian faith, whose books have had a broad cultural impact.

Daniel will be delivering a Torrey Honors College Distinguished Guest Lecture on Tuesday, October 21st in Calvary Chapel at 7:30PM. All are welcome to attend!
