Culturally Competent Connections Program

The Culturally Competent Connections (CCC) program is a HRSA Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) funded initiative to expand access to culturally responsive mental health care in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Equipping clinicians to serve LA's Underserved

Program Overview

The goal of the CCC program is to increase a clinical psychology workforce equipped to provide technology-infused, culturally and linguistically competent, and integrated team-based services. The CCC program aims to expand access to necessary mental health services, particularly for communities in healthcare shortage areas of the Greater Los Angeles region.

For the 2025-26 academic year, 10 students completing their practicum training with communities of high-need and high-demand are selected for this program.
