Hannah Copeland
Focus Areas: Under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian, ELL, UDL
Hannah is a junior, under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ English major in the Torrey Honors College. She hopes to become a middle school English teacher and write novels on the side. Her strengths include grammar, word choice, organization and explanation of evidence. She is most familiar with APA, MLA and Turabian formatting.

Hannah Fodera
Focus Areas: Graduate, Chicago/Turabian, ELL
Hannah is a »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student pursuing an M.A. in both Old and New Testament. She also studied English Writing for one of her under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ degrees. To put it plainly — Hannah loves words. Whether it's poetry, prose, or public speaking, she is committed to becoming a better communicator for the rest of her life. Her strengths include revision, clarity and strengthening flows of argument.

Nathan Hollister-Fisch
Focus Areas: ​​MLA, Chicago/Turabian, Creative Writing/Poetry
Nathan is a sophomore, under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ philosophy student in Torrey Honors College. He plans to attend »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ school to study theology and aspires to be either a classical school teacher or a minister. His writing strengths include organization, word choice and brainstorming. He is adept at writing in a variety of styles, but has the most experience in the humanities, especially creative writing.

Chloe Nguyen
Focus Areas: Under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, MLA
Chloe is a freshman under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student in the Torrey Honors College studying English. She hopes to be a teacher one day, and serve in children's ministry. Her writing strengths include idea organization, sentence structure, clarity and evidence incorporation. Chloe enjoys all aspects of writing, but is most familiar with humanities papers and argumentative essays.

Esther Park
Focus Areas: Graduate, APA
Esther is a »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student in the M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy program. She is currently studying to be a licensed therapist. Her strengths include grammar/spelling, thesis development and looking at the bigger picture of one's writing. Her writing hobbies are creative short fiction and poetry.

Aiden Sherer
Focus Areas: Under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, MLA, Screenwriting
Aiden is a junior undergrad in Biola's CMA program studying writing and production. He's a former member of Biola's cross-country team and continues to enjoy running as well as anything outdoors from kayaking to camping. Be sure to ask him about his favorite movie!

Kristina Long
Focus Areas: MLA, Chicago/Turabian, ELL, Bilingual (Russian speaker)
Kristina is a sophomore Bible major, with an emphasis in language, and is also a part of the Torrey Honors program. She hopes to one day go on to seminary for »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ school. In her spare time, she enjoys composing music and writing poetry. Her strengths include fine tuning grammar, checking spelling and focusing on creative writing. She loves working with all students and is more than willing to help with a theology paper.

Mary Anne Swart
Focus Areas: Graduate, APA
Mary Anne is pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, with dreams to be a therapist for children. Due to her undergrad in psychology, she is especially familiar with APA and research-style writing. However, her favorite part of working at the RWC is when she gets to take part in the brainstorming stage, as it provides the most opportunities for creativity, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the student behind the writing!

Thomas Tripp
Focus Areas: Under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, MLA
Thomas is a freshman, under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ English major in the Torrey Honors College. He plans to attend the classical theology »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ program at Biola, in hopes of teaching either English or theology at the high-school level. His strengths include sentence structure, punctuation and word choice. He is passionate about all forms of writing, but he loves studying the prose of classical British and American fiction.

Zach Buus

Zach is a »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student studying philosophy at Talbot with a B.A. in Classical Liberal Arts from Patrick Henry College. He loves philosophy, literature, film and metal music. His writing strengths include grammar, sentence structure, argumentation, and precision and clarity of language. He is happy to help with papers of all kinds, but has the most experience writing in humanities disciplines.

Molly Tuffnell

Molly is a »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student working on her Master of Divinity in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. Having completed her B.A. in Bible, Theology, & Biblical Languages, she is most familiar with Chicago/Turabian and theological writing. Molly's strengths include brainstorming and creativity, grammar and syntax, word choice, and highlighting the writer's personal voice. She has experience as an academic tutor and ELL teacher and loves partnering with others in the beautiful and imperfect process of learning in community!

Sam Miller

Sam is a sophomore English major in the Torrey Honors College with a minor in media studies. He aspires to work in the film industry as a writer/director and has strengths in many mediums of both fiction and non-fiction writing. No matter if you are writing a screenplay, short story, or term paper, Sam would be happy and willing to work alongside you.

Elliott Krost

Elliott is a senior, under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ psychology major with a minor in Business Administration. He has lived in over 10 countries and hopes to pursue a Ph.D. to conduct culturally aware developmental psychology research. His goal is to find a process for writing that works for you and is especially experienced with research-based writing, but he enjoys all forms of writing.

Aliya Ayers

Aliya is a sophomore under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ English major in the Torrey Honors College. She hopes to go into editing and publishing. Her skills include grammar and spelling, organization, argument development, and clarity. She works best with literary analysis and argumentative essays.

Abby Price

Abby is a freshman, under»Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ psychology major in the Torrey Honors College. She hopes to one day publish a poetry chapbook, but also loves linguistics, psychology, fashion, and her two cats. Her strengths include sentence structure, style, word choice, and rhetorical organization. She is most familiar with humanities essays and creative writing, but is excited to work with all kinds of writers.

Matthew Duff

Matthew recently »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµd from Rosemead with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and is currently pursuing a certificate in spiritual formation at ISF. A Seattle native, he enjoys reading, hiking, playing board games, and doing anything that involves being outside. His writing strengths include organization, clarity, diction, and grammar. He enjoys working with students of all disciplines but is especially familiar with APA style.

Katherine Padilla

Katherine is a senior Cinema & Media Arts major. After graduating, she plans to move to Europe for work in the film industry, while pursuing a master's degree in TESOL. Her strengths include storytelling and development, idea organization, phrasing and diction, and the polishing process. She loves collaboration with students of all disciplines, and her passions of culture, story, and language culminate in a particular interest in humanities pieces.

Caleb Villa

Caleb is a »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ student in Talbot's philosophy program. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Crowell, so he offers expertise in MLA formatting, business reports, and other technical forms of writing. He loves helping writers use the clearest phrasing, word choices, and grammar possible even while expressing complex ideas. In his free time, he enjoys analyzing film and music through the lens of Christian theology.
